Alexander Filippovich Bugaev (17.11.1943, Lugansk) is a geologist, philosopher, poet and philanthropist.

He graduated from the Novocherkassk Polytechnic Institute in 1969 and worked as a hydrogeologist in various regions of the Soviet Union: Dagestan, Yakutia, Buryatia, Kazakhstan and Donbass.
